Making Waves for Lung Health: Pippa's Swim Challenge

I'm taking on a swimming challenge to raise funds for the European Lung Foundation (ELF) and support the work of ELF Chair Dimitris Kontopidis.

Dimitris has dedicated many years to improving the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis (CF) and other lung conditions, championing better access to treatment, care and patient support across Europe. As a person living with CF himself, he understands first-hand the challenges faced by people with respiratory diseases and the importance of ensuring that every patient has access to the care they need.

Funds raised through this challenge will support the European Lung Foundation's Chair's Campaign, led by Dimitris, which is working to improve awareness of and access to lung transplantation across Europe. A portion of the funds will also support Respiralia, helping to raise awareness of lung health and engage communities in taking action for healthier lungs.

By supporting my swim, you will be helping the European Lung Foundation continue its work to bring patients, healthcare professionals and researchers together to improve lung health and respiratory care for everyone.
